On this page you will find some information, ideas and links to other resources

1. Estimate via email - I can easily provide you with rough estimate via email. It is easy, convenient, you have no obligations, and you will have all numbers to find out if it fits your budget. You only need to know some measurements, have some ideas about design, make couple pictures and it's about it. It might be not so quickly  as in home appointment, but if you are not in hurry and do research, I think it will help a lot. I am very affordable and reliable finish carpenter.

Here is few steps to obtain rough estimate via email

     1. I need short description from you of what you want me to do, along with some pictures (of your existing project or some pictures from internet with something new you want me to build)

     2. I will email you back with questions if any

     3. As soon as I obtain all the info I requested, I will email my estimate for labor and material

2. I have direct account with different stairs part suppliers, so I can provide you with quality material for stairs at reasonable price. There is two major stair parts manufacturers in US -

1. L.J. Smith stair system - www.ljsmith.com

2. House of Forgings  - www.houseofforgings.net/

3. Only 5 - 10% of all finish carpenters and hardwood floor installers do stairs installation. It's totally different trade that requires special tools, skills and knowledge. If you hire, for example, hardwood installer to do your floor and stairs, he will 95% will hire someone like me for stairs installation. So if you want save money and get better service, please work directly with staircase installers....

4. Another good thing about me is that you are dealing directly to the person who do the job for you. So I am highly interested in providing high quality service, because professionally installed product leads to new customers through your reference. And it helps me keep my pricing low (you are paying directly to the person who do the job, not to big company with managers and supervisors...)
